Join us for one of the most challenging 104-mile cycling events in the Southeast, the Annual Six Gap Century!
The demanding course features 104 miles and 11,230 vertical feet of climbing with elevations ranging from 1,400 feet to 3,364 feet.
Think you have what it takes to finish the Six Gap Century? The Six Gap Century boasts many of the same roads and mountain climbs as the elite Tour de Georgia. The ultra-challenging route takes you up and down six of the steepest climbs in the North Georgia Mountains.
Elevations on the six gaps in this ride range from 1,400 feet to 3,460 feet. The toughest climb, Hogpen Gap, will challenge even the strongest riders, averaging a 7% grade for seven miles, with sections as steep as 15%.
The Six Gap Century includes nine full rest stops, all supplied with a great selection of food and drink. Exhilarated Six Gappers will be greeted with a huge spaghetti dinner after the ride.
The KOM is only applicable to riders completing the Six Gap Century (104 miles) route and Three Gap Fifty (58 miles) route. Your ride finish time has no bearing on the KOM Challenge. For more details, check out the KOM Challenge Rules.
