Tracy Draper – cyclist and author. She is a local cyclist from Mount Dora who rode across country … yes … across the continental United States. She came to David’s World Cycle for a book signing. Her book is titled “Live It: Riding the Highs and Lows of a Cross Country Dream“. It is her true story about being a mom that rediscovered the athlete within as her children grew up.
In an intimate-feeling setting at the book signing, Tracy talked about her inspiration for her ride, her struggles and challenges, and her desire to help others. Her energy and drive was apparent. You could not help but feel inspired by her determination.
I can’t wait to read her book! Of course, I got it signed … something for me to remember that everyday people do amazing things. Something for me to remember and be inspired by this wonderful woman who decided to not only dare to dream but dare to make that dream Reality.
