The TeamOne Donor Appreciation night held on Wednesday, November 15, 2017, marks what is now considered an annual event by the team. This year’s event hosted by TeamOne took place at
La Merce in Winter Park on a perfect Florida evening. Just a small Thank You to all the donors who helped make TeamOne a team of Champions with their generous support, the team selects a local spot to gather for Food, Drinks, and Fun!
The Evening
La Merce made for a warm, inviting backdrop to the gathering of donors and team members. The conversation was lively and entertaining. Friendly staff at La Merce made sure everyone was welcomed, comfortable, and had a drink in hand and food readily available. The main attraction, the Paella, a delicious medley of Spanish rice, seafood, chicken, pork, and veggies made a beautiful display. But Paella was not the only fare waiting for the hungry crowd. Beef Carpaccio; mixed salad; vegetable, chicken, and beef empanadas; and an assortment of cheeses and meat gave numerous choices for filling up on. Not to be missed, though, was the chocolate mousse and almond cookies. The evening was a huge success!
TeamOne looks forward to next year’s event. A Thank You get-together is just a small token of appreciation for all that the donors contribute … not just monetarily but also in spirit and encouragement to the riders.
