On Saturday, March 30, 2019, a celebrity roast was arranged in honor of Bob Fecteau in recognition of all the assistance he has provided to TeamOne, the community, and for the upcoming ADA Tour de Cure ride. Bob was instrumental in helping Fundraisers achieve the $1,000 mark which made them “Champions”. This invitation-only event recognized his efforts.

The group gathered at Park Place Pizza and Brewery in Lake Nona for a fun-filled evening. To start the evening, there were appetizers and craft brews, a specialty of Park Place Pizza. The jibs started. Bob, always with a great sense of humor, had nothing but laughter and even chimed in himself. Soon the pizzas started making their entrance to the table. With mouths full, the laughter took a slight break. The revelry started back up, though. Bob, ‘El Toro’ on the rides always pushed the team. He also looked out for them. So, while the celebrity roast made fun, the underlying theme was how Bob kept morale up on the rides, battling the incredible wind, and making sure everyone was safe on the rides!
